Dr Evan completed both his undergraduate medical science bachelors degree and postgraduate bachelor of medicine/bachelor of surgery at Griffith University, QLD. He then went on to complete his General Paediatrics specialty training (FRACP).

Dr Evan has a unique background in both acute, complex paediatric medicine and neurodevelopmental paediatrics. He previously held Paediatric Emergency Medicine and Paediatric Intensive Care roles, including through Queensland Children’s Hospital, Gold Coast University Hospital and Townsville University Hospital. He also worked as a General Paediatrician within the Gold Coast Child Development Service.

He welcomes all referral’s for a wide variety of child concerns with expertise in managing a range of childhood illnesses including neonatal conditions, growth concerns, asthma, epilepsy and gastrointestinal conditions. With specialist child development experience and interest, he provides neurodevelopmental assessment, management options and support.

Dr Evan is a current Staff Specialist Paediatrician within Bowral & District Hospital and Senior Lecturer (Paediatrics) through the University of Wollongong.

Now a Southern Highlands ‘local’, Dr Evan relocated to the area with his wife and two children early 2024 and looks forward to working with the community, local schools and allied health specialists within the region.
